Dear Metro-Atlanta Alcorn Alumni Chapter Membership,
I am honored and humbled to serve as your Chapter President for the 2024 – 2026 term. Thank you for placing your confidence in me, and I am excited about the journey ahead as we continue to strengthen our ties with our beloved Alcorn State University.
I am grateful to everyone who has supported me in this role. Your commitment to our community and dedication to the ideals of Alcorn State University are the cornerstones of our shared success. Together, we will build upon the legacy of excellence that defines our Alma Mater.
Alcorn State University holds a special place in our hearts, and it is with great pride that I commit to fostering a sense of unity, purpose, and service within our Metro-Atlanta Alcorn Alumni Chapter membership and beyond. As we embark on this next chapter, I am committed to the following three key pillars that will guide our efforts:
1. Recruiting the Best and the Brightest: Alcorn State University has a rich tradition of excellence, and we will continue to actively work to identify, connect with, and encourage the best and brightest students to join our University. By serving as ambassadors for Alcorn, we contribute to the ongoing success of our Alma Mater.
2. Membership Growth: A thriving alumni community is built on the strength of its members. I am dedicated to increasing our Chapter’s membership thereby ensuring that more alumni can participate in the rich tapestry of events, networking opportunities, and shared experiences that define our association.
3. Community Service Outreach: Our Chapter will continue to actively engage with the Metro-Atlanta community through meaningful service projects. By giving back, we positively impact and showcase the values instilled in us at Alcorn State University. Together, we can be a force for good in Metro Atlanta and throughout Georgia.
I am enthusiastic about the possibilities and the positive impact we can make as a united Metro‑Atlanta Alcorn Alumni Chapter. Let us continue to elevate Alcorn State University and celebrate the spirit of community, achievement, and service that defines us.
Thank you for your trust, and I look forward to a successful and fulfilling term.
